How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6016110 / WPW10167742 Infinite Switch Top Burner Control Switch

Replaced Infinite switch's...The parts were sent out the same day and I received them the next day....Great Customer Service... 

Did a little trouble shooting and found what one out of the 4 was bad. Ordered part it arrived 2 days later and switched it out with the good one and it worked. Easy! 

I replaced the infinite switches. Unplugged them and changed the switches out and put it back together. Everything is fine. 

Replaced infinite switch. Could see black burn marks on cam fingers. 

Ordered part and replaced controller.

I ordered both infinite switches and watched the how to do it video. The repair took me less than 10 minutes for both. Upon completion I contacted the appliance repair company that I had been waiting for over 2 months for the parts and repair. I was able to cancel them with a smile on my face. Your products saved me time and money. I could have saved over 2 months of waiting time if I had contacted your company first. Thank you. 

I replaced the infinite switch on both and problem solved. 

These were very easy to do. I watched the two videos on how to replace the switch and the oven temp sensor and it went exactly as indicated. Very easy to do, unscrew the back panel on the oven, remove the knob, unscrew the switch and unplug wire connectors from the bad switch, plug wire connectors into the new switch and screw switch in; same for the oven sensor (even easier) and replace the back panel. Everything works great and took like 20 minutes. Only needed a Phillips head screwdriver. Saved me like $350 by buying the parts and installing it myself. Don't be afraid, it was easy.
