How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6005839 / WP2149705 Light Switch

Put in a new switch and new bulbs nothing wrong with old switch the secret is when I turned the bulbs in they came to a stop they needed to turn in more to make a contact in those light sockets with that certain kitchen aid model I am glad that I talked with somebody online about this because they turn harder and further after they stop the first time 

I changed the button 

Observed how it came off and reinstalled it the same way. 

Installed a new light switch. 

Replaced the Crisper Drawer and Light Switch. 

Changed switch.

Bought replacement switch from you. While the price was ok, the shipping was little mjuch. But quick delivery. Also, the video very helpful. 

After checking the bulbs to no avail I decided to order and install a new switch. The switch was cross referenced with the original part for this 20 + year old refrigerator and was correct. An easy fix. Made sure the power was off and removed the 5 screws holding the face plate and control panel in place. Unplugged and removed the old switch, snapped the new one in place and reconnected the wires. Put the face plate and control panel back in place and turned the power back on. Everything works fine. 10 - 15 minutes!
