How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6022522 / WPW10514214 Pressure Switch

Tried inlet valve first & code kept showing up then I ordered the flow meter & in 16 minutes washer was up & running thank you appliance parts pros. Com Mr. Ron 

I replaced the water valve, the water inlet flowmeter, and the pressure switch (switch-WI). I'm not sure which part fixed the problem, but replacing all three was really easy. The site gave the repair time as 1 hour for each part (I think) but the whole job, once I had the parts, took about 40 minutes. Even though I probably replaced parts that were good, my total cost was way, way less than bringing a repair person to the house. 

I replaced the Switch-WI 

Bought wl switch, hose and flow meter. Replaced flow meter first and washer now working. Will be returning switch. Happy this company gives troubleshooting guidance and installation guides. Will definitely keep them on my go to list for appliance repair parts and assistance! 

Checked drain hose for obstruction or kink, no found. Cleaned pump inlet screen but it wasn't that dirty. Checked drain pump internally for obstruction - nothing found. Replaced this water level switch and so far, so good. New switch was easy to install thanks to video at appliancepartspros.com. New switch was a direct replacement for original one but looked different. Maybe it is an improved design. 

Replaced Water Valve (WP8182862). 

I repleced the switch WI and the soap dispenser i broke trying to diagnose the problem.i read someone else said that your videos take the fear out, can't be more truth than that! Thanks 

Checked out Appliance Parts pros Help pages and found out I needed an inlet water valve, which I ordered with the help of a friendly chat with Kathy online. Received it in two days and had it fixed and running in less than 30 minutes! The longest part of the repair was unbuttoning it for access and putting it back together, the actual repair didn't require any tools! 

I replaced the inlet valve 

I ran the diagnostics and things looked good. There was good water pressure and clean hose filters. I replaced the pressure switch and the flowmeter with resolution of the problem. The parts wre easy to access by removing the top. The repair was easy, although it took a little finesse to remove the old parts.
