Broken timer on gas dryer

The fix went so much easier than I anticipated. Pull the knob, take 4 screws off the back panel and two screws to hold the timer. Pull the 6 wiring jacks which you can't screw up and put it back together. The dryer is running fine now.

Timer turning on and shutting off during drying cycle

Dryer not heating properly there was some heat but heat kept shutting off

I originally changed the gas solenoid coils hoping that it would fix the problem but that did not work. After checking the circuit with a multimeter, I felt that the timer contacts were the problem. I replaced the timer and the dryer works fine now.
