John P Canyon Country , CA June 12, 2014 Timer bad Dryer would not start so checked everything with multi meter and some functions of the timer weren't working. No power was being sent to motor. Replaced timer and worked ok then motor seemed slow and had a hard time turning drum with a full load. So I ordered a new motor and Dryer works better than ever. Read More... I was 98% sure it was the timer . i did a little checking using volt meter . After removing the timer dial , I shook the part in my hand and heard a rattle sound .
