How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013380 / WP8566184 Dryer Timer

I called the place I bought it new from. They said it was probably the timer, but not worth fixing because the timer is an expensive part and a service call would be a lot. I looked for parts online and found your site. It was significantly less expensive than you. It came within a couple of days and was fairly easy to replace. 

Purchased a new timer and installed it using your online instructions. Instructions were basically good and installation was completed successfully. I was very pleased when I ordered the timer late Sunday night and it arrived less than three days later during mid-afternoon on Wednesday. To remove the stuck front temperature dial, I used a length of 30 lb. test fishing line (my other "tool") that I placed behind it and pulled gently..

My husband figured out that the timer on the dryer wasn't working. I ordered a new timer part, it arrived very quickly and was so easy to replace thanks to your video. This saved us hundreds of dollars!! 

Found the timer on this site and it looked easy enough to do and the price was right compared to what other appliance repair places around here wanted for it, so I ordered it. Such an easy job to do, just remove wires and replace them on the new timer. Took 5 minutes. So happy to have Found AppliancPartsPros.comrtose parts pros!J

Got a new replacement timer from you folks. Then replaced the old one. 

You sent an exact replacement so simply switched wires from old part to new part.
