How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6007578 / WP308180 Oven Bake Element

I ordered part from Appliance Parts Pros and installed in three minutes. It worked like a charm, oven range back up running fine. Now I'm cooking everything again. 

.Ordered the replacement part.on Friday. The bake element was delivered and installed Sunday. 

Removed and replaced with new element. Used a phillips head screw driver to remove/reinstall 2 screws that hold the element to the back of the oven. Used a couple of binder clips to keep the wires from retracting back into the insulation while the element was out. 

I went online to AppliancePartsPros.com and found the heating element that I needed and placed my order online on Monday, December 6th. The part arrived on Wednesday, December 8th, I removed the old element and installed the new one and everything works just fine. Ordered the part, it came in quickly and was installed easily. Actually, I keep one of these heating elements stored back as my oven goes out at optimal times. Replacement was quick and easy. 

Ordered the part on line. Had the part in 2 days. Put in new part and tested to see if it worked great. 

A simple repair. 1. Cut off electricity by flipping circuit breaker. 2. Remove shelves from oven. 3. Remove two screws that hold heating element to oven. 4. Wiggle electrical spade tips from the heating element. 5. Attach new heating element to spade tips. 6. Replace two corroded screws with new ones. 7. Turn on circuit breaker and verify that the new element works. 8. Replace shelves. 

Ordered replacement part April 15. Received replacement part April 19 and installed the new element within 15 minutes.
