How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013067 / WP8540751 Water Inlet Valve

Replaced the Water Inlet Valve. 

I ordered the Water Inlet Valve. I found a replacement quickly with AppliancePartsPros.com 

Replaced the inlet fill valve assy. 

New water inlet valve. 

I went to YouTube hoping I can find a solution to my F20 error message. While I was looking at videos on YouTube, trying to discover a solution a contributor told me about AppliancePartsPros.com. So, I decided to try it out and was so impressed! The videos were specific to the part needed much more in-depth than anything I had seen on YouTube. Also, the comments from the consumers were helpful in zeroing in on my problem. So, I ordered the part and was told that I would have it in 5 days. Spoiler alert, I had it the next day! 

I swapped out the water inlet valve that I purchased from AppliancePartsPros.com and got it back up and running with no issues. Thanks to APPs for the helpful instructional video on how to swap it out. 

Replaced intake valve. 

Ordered a washer inlet pressure valve, replaced it following the video instructions and my washer works as well as new! The most difficult part was retrieving pliers dropped inside the the washing machine case. 

I entered my clothes washer model number to look for replacement intake valve. The how-to video was fantastic; it told me step-by-step how to remove old part and replace new one. 

Was told this error could be one or all of three parts: inlet valve, pressure sensor, computer. Tried the inlet valve first because I could hear it humming and water didn't seem to be flowing through it. Solved the problem. Replaced it just like the video. Works perfectly.
