How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013067 / WP8540751 Water Inlet Valve

Our Whirlpool Duet Sport washing machine stopped working and the error code given was F30. Thanks to Appliance Parts Pros, I found the part, watched the video and while being inside the machine, I also changed the Water Inlet Valve, as it was the original. The repair video was very, very helpful and absolutely spot-on! I paid for overnight shipping and the next day, FedEx delivered the parts. Within an hour of receiving the parts, the machine was finished and running like brand new. The price of the parts from Appliance Parts Pro was $20.00 less per part than our local supplier, who didn't have them in stock and quoted two to three days to order them. APP has helped to keep our older machines running for the past few years and I'm exceptionally grateful for their professionalism and wonderful customer service. Thank you APP! 

Replaced water valve 

Replace water valve and level control. 

I ordered the correct water inlet valve assembly, along with a new set of hoses from Appliance Parts Pros. It's a pain in the neck to work on stackable front-loaders in a closet so I had to haul them out before I could separate the two machines. Once out and unstacked (with the help of a friend) I was able to remove the top cover of the washing machine to replace the part. Note: Be sure to turn off the lines to the machines as well as unplugging them. Also, remember to clean the hose bibs and check for water flow before reconnecting. The videos provided on Appliance Parts Pros and Youtube are very helpful. Helpful hint: Be sure to clean the drain filter before attempting to fill the machine otherwise all that water that may not drain will be all over your floor.

NOT FIXED! Unfortunately for me I choose not to continue with my repairs as the cost would have equated to a new washer. AppliancePartsPros.com however was awesome & timely delivering the RIGHT parts that I needed and the technicians where very knowledgeable & POLITE! If I ever need appliance parts in the future I will be back to do business with them. 

Watched YouTube video, how to repair F20 code on Whirlpool washers. Very helpful and informative and he recommended appliance parts pros.com (apps.com) for parts and repair videos. Found replacement, and placed order with apps.com, and watched video on how to replace water inlet valve. When part came, followed the instructional video and replaced part. Very easy repair finished in about 40 minutes. 

Ordered the water inlet valve from appliancepartpros.com. The item was shipped timely and came in as ordered. The online video from the above mentioned site was extremely helpful. The repair took about 20-25 min.
