How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013067 / WP8540751 Washer Water Inlet Valve

I replaced the inlet valve/solenoid. After a quick google search, I found this site and a video describing the problem and how to repair it. The video was short and concise, exactly what I needed. The repair took a total of 15-20 minutes. Very easy repair, make sure you have all the correct tools needed, including a TORX #20 driver before starting and there were no surprises. 

It gave a code of F20 so I Google it and it showed me some things to do to figure it out. I had this problem before when it was under warranty along with other problems with this whirlpool piece of stuff front loader...Then I Google for a part and it brought me to your site for the parts.... I ordered it and you guarantee that it would ship out that did for which it did.. I was amazed that I got it the next day just about 24 hours later.. I was so frecking happy.. I was more happy that we went out for dinner and couldn't wait to get home and fix it;.. I put the part in and was happy!!! I thought we were just going to go and buy a new washer, but it worked out less then $50.00!! 

Changed valve took less than thirty minutes

Replaced Inlet Valve with replacement part 

After checking on the internet for repair information and looking at the information on your website I ordered the new fill valve. The repair was simple and easy to complete. 

Replaced 

According to the website the problem was a leaking intake valve. After watching a video of the repair I ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pros.com as I decided that I could handle the work. Two days later the part arrived. It installed in a half hour ad the problem was solved. This is not my first experience with Appliance Parts Pros and will not be my last. I have now repaired my washer, dryer, refrigerator and ice maker utilizing their parts and directions. First class service; always the correct parts and excellent instructional directions. 

Replaced fill valve 

Watched Appliance Parts Pros' video. Removed hoses, cover, unplugged and unscrewed water valve and removed hose. Replaced valve, connected plug and hose. Screwed back in and replaced washer cover and hoses. VERY easy repair! Washer now sounds like Niagra Falls when filling!
