Ron H Santa Ana , CA September 27, 2014 Ice tray in kitchen aid fridge did not fill with water reservoir tube was brittle and split causing leaks I checked the wiring and water supply lines and they all appeared in working order. I surmised since no water was making it up to the ice maker tray that the fill valve was defective, or one of the solenoids on the fill valve was, so I replaced the fill valve. At the same time, I replaced the reservoir tube that coils inside the fridge compartment since it had sprung multiple leaks. Not a difficult repair since access to the valve was good. With the water supply back on the ice maker jumped into action and started filling the tray.
