How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6333306 / W11236646 Washer

Using You Tube How-To Videos. Replaced the drum drive belt and tensioner pulley/arm (including) the spring. 

Replaced the Drum Roller and shaft. The hardest part was finding out the nut was left handed threads 

Took dryer apart by matching the video . It was very helpful, replace the bad part and put on a new belt and idler pulley. Cleaned it all out like new put it back together and she work great. 

Replaced all dryer drum rollers and connecting parts 

I order parts from you guys because your videos are great! sometimes I'll just watch the videos for fun. 

Replaced rollers, spindles, and belt. Also replaced gas igniter, solenoid, burn tube, and all sensors. Sensors come in a kit and wish roller kit included them. Only issue is the back spindles are left handed threads. Took about 3 hours to complete. 30 minutes of that time was cleaning all the lint that was everywhere! Taking pitchers with your cell phone helped in the reassembly! 

Turned out it was the idler pulley wheel. Given the effort to take the dryer apart, replaced the drum roller and belt. The hardest part, and not that hard, is taking the dryer apart. Actual part replacement is super easy. Once in there, might as well clean it out and replace other parts. The videos are spot on. A couple of small differences between my exact dryer and video, but nothing significant. 

After watching the video I replaced the idler pulley and the drum rollers 

Took top and back off and replaced roller. The plastic retainer had broken and come off causing the roller to make all that noise. Your picture and description of the roller does not mention that two tri-ring retainers are supplied with the roller. As a result I purchased 3 "extra" retainers that, hopefully I will never use. Also the washer is not needed as it is bolted to the frame and is not needed. WHY do they use a part, the retainer, made out of plastic. Don't reply, I know. $$$ Very pleased with AppliancePro service. 

A friend of mine told me what parts to order. I went to the Maytag store on line to order, and got to the last part ( no longer unavailable ). Canceled order and went to Appliance Parts Pros, they had them all in stock, and cheaper.
