How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010602 / WP694089 Blower Wheel

I took the part number off of and order it. Your video help out a lot showing how to take the dryer apart and the drum out where I can put the blower wheel on it. Better to fix it instead of buying new one. Thank y’all for having the video to show how to do it. 

I replaced the motor and fan. your video was very helpful. made it very easy 

Followed the AppliancePartsPro's instructional video which was perfect. I cut the blower wheel off with an electric cutoff tool in 30 seconds ( If you don't have the tool this is the time to buy it because you can find them for $18, and you will need it again someday). 

After checking the door switch, check the fuse, the motor had to be it. Couldn’t get the blower wheel off the motor, hammered it off with a screwdriver. Fit perfect on the new motor and started immediately! Thank you Appliance Parts Pros! 

Watched your video for motor change - excellent resource. This was old, original motor. Could not remove blower wheel from motor shaft (yes, I was turning in correct direction). Had to cut wheel off of wheel hub using drill saw so that motor could be removed. Ordered both parts at about 2:30PM. Received parts next day early PM, using standard delivery (by FEDEX). Installed parts and reassembled dryer per video instructions. Dryer works like new. 

Was able to replace the motor as well as the Blower Wheel ,dryer belt, Idler pully, and roller kit. Dryer was purchased back in 1996 and now it works like a new dryer. The cost was very reasonable. Love the tutorial video's! 

Replaced motor, drum support wheels, belt pulley, blower wheel and lint screen housing seals.

I replaced the motor. 

I ordered new motor and blower wheel. I went with OEM so the possibility of making connection modifications was low. Removal of blower wheel was the tough part. I’d tried it for ages to take old motor out to lube it. Don’t waste time! Buy a new blower wheel and cut the old one out. I used a Drexel with cutting wheel and worked from the back. Tips: clean it all out when drum is out and blower wheel cover is off, install motor and front clip then blower wheel and then rear clip, remember to reconnect door switch, lube wheels and pulley before reassembly. Dryer runs like new. Parts arrived VERY quickly.
