How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010602 / WP694089 Blower Wheel

Called you people, ordered new blade and it did not take long to get blade. Watched how to replace. It took me about 30 or 45 minutes to replace. Thank you, Phil 

I had to saw it off and order a new one when replacing the motor. 

I ordered a new blower from these guys. It arrived in a couple of days. The how-to video was awesome! There were a lot of steps- the entire dryer had to pretty much be disassembled. It took my son and me less than an hour to complete the replacement. We also took advantage of the opportunity and cleaned up the inside...and found $.79! Did I mention how excellent the video was? 

Ordered new blower fan, came the next day. Easy to install, the dryer works again. 

Replaced the motor and blower fan, The dryer runs quiet and does not stop until the cycle is finished. 

Replaced the broken exhaust fan and went ahead and replaced the drum rollers while I had it tore apart 

We had taken the dryer apart and replaced the motor, drum belt and the fan on the motor. To say it was difficult was true because we had to disassemble the entire dryer to get to the motor. BUT It works like a dream again. My husband has skills, so it wasn’t a major ordeal for him. A not so handy person would be trouble, but could be done. 

I looked up my appliance model and watched the Youtube video. I was able to keep my laptop available so I could stop and rewind when needed. It took me less than a 1/2 hour from start to finish. 

Replaced motor and drum rollers 

We ordered a new dryer drive motor. To replace it the blower fan must be taken off the old motor. unfortunately, mine did not come off in one piece. I had to order a new one. I also decided to replace the dryer belt even though it was still in good shape. I cleaned the interior and exterior of all dust. Put the new dryer drive motor, blower fan and dryer belt on. Learned how to do all of this by watching the video you show to do these repairs. Put all the parts back together and I dried my first load of laundry. It worked like a charm. Total repair was $180.00. Thank you!
