Wai N Bellevue , WA January 23, 2015 Appliance: Model 31275223/01 One 6" surface element temperature control failed it always stayed on high even at simmer I exchanged the element with a working one, but problem still there while the suspect one work well in the other 6" top. So, I conclude that the control switch failed. I ordered one from appliancepartspros and replaced the suspect. Now all surface elements are working. During the process, I have to try placing the switch in different positions (A, B, C & D) in order to align it right with the control dial, 30 mins or so.
