The homeowner kept getting AE flood code on a 2 yr old LG dishwasher. Changed the gasket at the bottom of the door. ordered the $25 part AP 6236867 and the door seal AP6981193 ($22) for a complete job.
(the seal that connects the bottom of the door to the big inside pan of the dishwasher)
Next time I will order the rubber flange and the metal frame/rod/structure and the little white/yellow plastic slips on the end as one assembly,
The door seal/gasket under the door by itself is just the rubber part. If the part came with the metal and plastic assembly it would have saved me time on the job.
