The plastic clips and connections finally gave way. Opening the door meant that all the electronics on the top controlls would just drop out. I removed aboy 10 screws and this gave me access to the power button and all the setting buttons. They were dirty. I cleaned them with alcohol wipes and applied them to the new facia. I also installed a new chrome handle. It was about a 7 out of 10 for difficulty. Most of my time was spent cleaning the perimeter of the gasket and dirt at the bottom of the front panel. The job took about 1 hour. It now has a new lease on life and looks brand new again.
