The bottom element shorted out in my electric oven. The circuit breaker did not trip; fortunately I was standing 15 feet away. I momentarily thought I was going to loose the house as the kitchen was bathed in a brilliant white light of an arcing 220 volt short. After shutting off power the situation was safe and contained. I assessed the problem and went to the AppliancePartsPros.com site and ordered a new element for 18.00 dollars. The part was amazingly delivered 18 hours later! I watched the YouTube video of the installation on the APP site prior to the repair. The new element installation took about 10 minutes, now my little nightmare is a distant memory. Thanks APP!
