Tried getting the replacement latch, an inexpensive part, but the part was no longer available because the entire door lock and switch were modified for the purposes of replacement parts. So I ended up having to buy not only the latch but the door lock, switch, and new wire harness kit. $$$. The replacement parts were easy - no instructions necessary, but the new wire harness definitely required instruction to know how to hook up the wires. Fortunately the instructions that came with the kit provided sufficient detail to do the re-wiring. I had to do a lot of studying of the words they used to describe how things are connected, and there was a little bit of vagueness about one connection, but once I fully understood what the instructions were saying, everything went together right and it all worked when I turned it on. So everything worked out OK.
