I ordered the door latch and started to replace it. When I removed the door switch it flew apart and I couldn't figure out how to put it back together. Lesson learned: be very careful when you remove the door switch. It's spring loaded. I ordered a new switch and spring here. The door switch was easy to install following the video on this site.
The spring didn't fit onto the latch assembly as shown in the video. The attachment points weren't the same. I found an alternate way to make it work by attaching the spring to the attachment points on the center of the latch itself.
