Paul B Woodstock , GA October 25, 2014 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDR01TJBL1 Broken door latch I ordered the door latch and started to replace it. When I removed the door switch it flew apart and I couldn't figure out how to put it back together. Lesson learned: be very careful when you remove the door switch. It's spring loaded. I ordered a new switch and spring here. The door switch was easy to install following the video on this site. The spring didn't fit onto the latch assembly as shown in the video. The attachment points weren't the same. I found an alternate way to make it work by attaching the spring to the attachment points on the center of the latch itself. Kenneth C Boyd , TX July 31, 2016 Broken handle on dishwasher I removed the area where the handle and electronics are located. This envolved removing 6 screws. The latch assembley came out very easy and watching the video on your site did help a lot and made repair very easy. I relplaced the handle and while I had it appart, I replaced the door actuator and spring. As stated, the repair video on your web site made the repair very easy.
