After replacing broken shock absorbing struts a year or more ago, one of the suspension springs broke. I decided to replace both springs as well as the shock absorbers a second time. I'm glad I did. I was worried that the unsupported tub blew out the struts even though they looked okay. After replacing each spring and each strut, the tub seemed noticeably better supported. The washer is running better now than it has previously, with only mild vibration at medium-high speed.
