UNPLUG the DRYER!! Then I removed the 4 screws holding the back plate on, removed the 2 screws holding the timer in place. Once the timer is free it was simply a matter of removing the wires from the back of the old timer placing them in the same spot on the new timer. Replaced the screws holding the timer in place after making sure it was in the correct orientation to match the face of the knob and the script. Replaced the back plate, replaced the 2 faded selector knobs and put dryer back in place. Test and collect kiss from wife, all done.
