Bruce B Birmingham , AL October 17, 2014 Dryer timer would not turn and knob broke from the strain I ordered the timer and knob on Monday, they arrived around noon on Tuesday, and within an hour I had them installed and back in business. I was amazed how quickly the parts got here. The online video showing the procedure step by step was very helpful. Instead of disconnecting all the wires and having to keep up with which one went where, I moved each wire one by one and made sure I didn't get any of them in the wrong place. The only thing that slowed me down a bit was seeing which side of the timer should be toward the top. I had to hold the old one in place a time or two to make sure I had the new one oriented correctly. Philip D Laveen , AZ January 08, 2018 Broken timer on dryer UNPLUG the DRYER!! Then I removed the 4 screws holding the back plate on, removed the 2 screws holding the timer in place. Once the timer is free it was simply a matter of removing the wires from the back of the old timer placing them in the same spot on the new timer. Replaced the screws holding the timer in place after making sure it was in the correct orientation to match the face of the knob and the script. Replaced the back plate, replaced the 2 faded selector knobs and put dryer back in place. Test and collect kiss from wife, all done.
