This was an easy fix, it only required 2 beers
First I turned off the power to the circuit then I pulled the 4 screws that held the oven in the opening within our cabinet, and removed the first 2 screws off of the right side of the panel, shifted the oven and removed the screws on the left side.
I then had a beer!! hard work indeed! I gently lifted the retaining plastic for the ribbon cables, there are 2, the removed the 4 screws that held on the circuit board and reassembled the new panel by reversing the disassembly procedure.
I turned back on the power circuit and tested each button, YAY they work!! screwed the oven back to the cabinet, sat down and had one more beer! another job done :-)
