It was easy to access and remove the old part. Just as easy to install the replacement. No more than 15 minutes (including cleaning the dirt behind the stove). It's disappointing that the old part is so fragile and stopped working but that's on the manufacturer. Given that the keypad is on the back wall behind the burners, I assume that the overlay and control board experience a lot of heat and grease when cooking which takes a toll on the parts.
