After determining it was not working correctly, I saw no risk in disassembling the pump body and drain screen. I discovered that the cutter blade had broken and the filter screen under the pump body was completely clogged. Further inspection yielded the drain check valve was the incorrect size for the application and the upper spray nozzle "o" ring was damaged... presumably when assembled at the factory. I researched the model of the dishwasher through appliance parts pros and ordered the replacement parts needed. All were in stock and the phone attendant was very helpful verifying all parts were correct for my application. All installed with correct fitment and the dishwasher now operates as new.
