The videos show you exactly what to do. I'm quite handy so I had no doubts about tackling this repair myself. For folks who own tools, I see no reason why anyone couldn't do this repair themselves. The most difficult part of the repair was removing the outer/inner tub. I was able to remove it myself but a word of caution. If you have someone who can help you, don't hesitate to ask for their help!
I've read online that this is such an expensive repair for those who cannot repair it themselves, they end up just buying a new machine.
