The sump area was encrusted with caked on soap. After soaking the sump area with vinegar and water, I ran the dishwasher and got the vast majority of debris out of the sump. The lower spray arm was damaged, the filter warped and beyond repair, the center spray arm was plugged solid. I wound up replacing the filter, center and lower spray arms, after cleaning the sump area. It took longer to find and order the parts than it did to replace the old parts.
