Followed the instructions given by Appliance Parts Pros. com. Very easy task. The only difference from the instructions given was I did not have to remove the top of my washer. The back panel was independent and easily removed by the 10 torx screws. It was as simple as drain the washer from front filter drain, unplug, shut off water supply (my hoses were long enough so I did not have to disconnect), remove back, remove pipe clamps, unplug wiring, tilt forward and remove two bolts holding old pump, remove pump, and then reverse order to put it all together. All together it took about an hour, at a very relaxed pace from getting my tools to having them all put away. END RESULT: The washer has never been so quiet. It always had a noisy discharge pump since we owned it (discounted return from Lowes), but now it is whisper quiet. I must say Appliance Parts Pro states their average delivery of parts is 1.7 days with standard shipping, I ordered my part at 3:40pm and had it the next morning by 11am. Fastest shipping I have every received from any mail order service. Outstanding experience. "Very pleased" is an understatement. Though I am very handy and can do just about anything (especially after watching a video), I am confident just about anyone could tackle this job with success and no frustration. Perhaps the most difficult thing would be to make sure you have the proper screwdriver, in my case, a "Torx 15," on hand.
