In the 7 years we have owned this appliance I have basically rebuilt this thing. So the washer would start and fill the basin, but the water pressure was super low. Once the basin was full, the cycle should start, but it didn't. It would basically sit there for an hour and do nothing. A little bit of spray would occur, and the soap door would open but the soap wouldn't get wet enough to melt. It would go on to do the drying cycle. I had a feeling this was the problem, but another review on this site sealed the deal with the exact symptoms I had.
