Thanks to Jason and his tech people at Appliance Parts Pro, I was able to remove and replace the seal and eliminate all leaks at the bottom of the door. I have a Kitchenaide (Whirlpool) dishwasher model KUDC10IXBL1. Here is how to replace the bottom door seal.
1) Shut off breaker to dishwasher on the electrical panel.
2) Open the dishwasher door completely, and while supporting the door, remove the hex head screws that hold the outside cover.
2) Close the door carefully and slip the outside cover off the dishwasher.
3) Open the door as far as it will go to reveal the screws under the door. Here is the tricky part: Use a small nut driver to remove the 5 screws holding the seal. You will have to push the tool into the small opening and carefully remove the screws.
4) Pull out the old seal and reverse the order to install the new seal. If the screw comes off the driver while you are attempting to thread it back into the bottom of the seal, look up on the door and you should be able to find the screw. Be careful not to drop the screw where it can bounce under the dishwasher. Keep in mind, you may have to remove the two screws holding the dishwasher under the counter top in order to pull the dishwasher out a little bit to make the installation a bit easier.
5) You do NOT need to remove the door for this repair.
6) Carefully reinstall the outside cover and make sure you start on one side with the first screw and then go back and forth reinstalling the remaining screws. Be careful not to under or over tighten these screws, but they should be fairly tight to prevent any leaking.
