Based on our research, the dishwasher latch was one of the most common causes for our model of dishwasher malfunctioning. We purchased this replacement unit, and thanks to the help provided via videos and diagrams, my wife and I were able to very easily install the new latch. While this replacement did not totally fix our problem, it was part of it.
