Replace with a new pump ordered from AppliancePartsPros.com
The pump still works, no leaking. But around the bearing, there is a stainless steel ring around the bearing gets loose and pops up, and grinding into the pump housing, makes a terrible noise.
I think it's a flaw in the pump design. This is the second time I have had to replace the pump on this machine. Same problem with the pump bearing.
It's the 2nd time for me, I have no problem putting in the new part with minimal tools. It fits perfectly.
