Replaced belt and thoroughly cleaned inside dryer cabinet. Also had one support wheel out of the four that was flattened on one side from not turning due to a buildup of lint and hair. Actually the whole inside of the dryer cabinet was full of matted lint and hair and the heating elements were not heating fully because of this. Thank goodness for the heat sensor that kept shutting off the heating elements or the whole mess might have gone up in flames! The dryer is about ten years old and this was the first time that I’ve ever cleaned it, but I’m going to make it a yearly thing now.
