My dryer was not drying my clothes fully so I thought it was the thermo fuse after looking it up online. As I opened up my dryer to fix this issue I noticed the belt was broken so I ordered the belt. After replacing the belt, the dryer worked for a few days and then stopped heating. At that point I ordered all the heating components an replaced them since the dryer would be completely open. My husband helped me this time since I am going through chemo/ radiation and I could not get belt on properly but I was able to do all other replacements of parts
I have had my Maytag dryer ( Duet / HE style) for over 15 years and it has always worked. I researhed new dryers but most reviews have a lot of complaints - electronics break easy , clothes gets caught on lint trap, etc. So I will always order my parts and perform repairs until I can no longer do so.
