You had no video on the repair so I found one on youtube. The repair went good with the only problem being, inserting the wire strips into the plastic. There are two metal strips and they have to be installed properly or you will not be able to secure the back side.
After installing and removing the metal strips several times, I finally figured out which strip goes in each spot. Both strips look similar and the I could not compare to the old sensor since it broke off and was no longer in one piece but several.
