So we have a nine-year old dyer needing a $300 (with shipping) part. Not a wise move were it not for the 365 day warranty from APP. Given the part warranty, if the dryer fails for any reason during the year, the board can be returned. If the dryer doesn't fail, we get a $900 dryer for $300. The repair absolutely did not make financial sense without the APP warranty. Note: time of 1-2 hours included initial disassembly, testing and reassembly with new part.
