How to replace Gas Burner Valve Assembly. I tried replacing the sensors first. That didn't cure the problem. Decided to replace the gas valve. I had the dryer apart a few times so it didn't take long (15 minutes) to get the new valve in. It seemed to fix the problem. After I looked at the old valve and noticed the gas adjustment screw was backed out of the factory setting.
