Appliance Parts Pros indicated that a test of the thermal fuse should be performed first. That fuse tested as good. There was a series of tests involving sensors which I skipped. I tested the leads to the heater element and determined that there was power to the element. I then followed the video to remove the element. I discovered that the element was broken and a replacement was necessary. The part arrived in two days and I was back in business. I would recommend that all of the screws be kept in a cup, or old butter tub etc. Also, keep tabs on which screws are longer than others and where they go during reassembly. The teardown and reassembly took about 90 minutes.
