Initially he misdiagnosed problem, installed a new computer module. When that did not rectify problem he advised the console/membrane was the problem. Given the quoted cost of the needed part in addition to cost of additional labor to install it, considered just buying a new dryer... Repairman suggested I check internet for part needed. I did and was able to make repair myself!
