Whirlpool 33002896 Dryer Control Panel Only OEM Part

Replaced control panel now like new

After a local (supposedly reputable) local appliance repairman gave up and suggested replacing the entire dryer, I traced all of the control panel buttons out with an ohm meter myself and found that they were all making/breaking properly. Even so, there must have been some sort of short in the panel, as replacing it completely fixed the issue. This was suggested by Jake over at applianceblog.com and I thank him so much for all of his help, which saved me easily hundreds of dollars! His expert advice allowed me to fix this issue myself in about 10 minutes, and he also pointed me here for the replacement part which allowed me to do so. Popped old one out, and put new on in. <-- simple as pie!

We ordered the Console/membrane Maytag AP4043121. Delivery of the part was amazingly fast. It was very easy to install the new membrane and took less than 10 minutes. The Dryer works like new again.
