Suddenly the timer knob malfunctioned and the dryer would not run for more than 10 minutes, if I attempted to advance the timer the dryer would shut off, abnormally. I was told by an appliance repairman who had come to look at my washer that the timer was 300.00 plus labor and that I should probably just get a new dryer. I researched this site and found that the timer part was only 116.00 and looked easy to put in so I took a chance and ordered the part. The part came in a day! I had asked my husband to put it on, but I watched the video and it looked so easy, and he was on the phone at the time, so I pulled out the dryer and took the back plate off and did exactly what the video said to do. I was done with the repair by the time he was off his call, and was plugging in the dryer to test my repair before putting the back plate back on, I advanced the timer knob and sweet success!!!! My husband is the electronics repairman, so I felt pretty good to be able to do this myself. :). So very easy with the video! Thank you very much!!!!
