I read through the information on the website. The thermal fuse or ignitor were listed as the most likely malfunctioning equipment. I also got the flame sensor which I ultimately returned. The video instructions were very comprehensive and clear. The videos on this site are exceptional especially for someone like myself who has the confidence to try a repair but without much practical knowledge. The thermal fuse was easily replaced but it didn’t fix the problem. I next replaced the ignitor which solved the issue. I really appreciated the video helpful hints such as to be careful to uncurl the felt around the drum. Other than the belt initially not placed correctly by me necessitating removing the drum for a second time, the repair went very smoothly. It took me a couple of hours. The parts were genuine brand named and were packaged well. I never checked prices elsewhere since even if I could have found a slightly less expensive source the help provided by this website made the cost well worthwhile.
