After watching the AppliancePartsPros videos ordered the three most likely culprits for the dryer not starting. I decided to install each of them in reverse order of complexity. Watching the video prior to and during the repair helped a great deal.
After replacing the start switch the dryer still did not start.
After replacing the door switch assembly the dryer started right up.
I fully anticipate I will need the thermal fuse in the future, so it is not money wasted.
In total the two repairs took under an hour -- Thanks for the help!
