This one was almost as easy as replacing the door latch assembly, but a little trickier. I just swapped the connectors one by one from the old board to the new (to make sure everything went to where it was supposed to go), then moved the plastic light indicators and the digital readout panel over to the new one. The dial was a little trickier, it involved unlatching the back of the old circuit board in order to get the whole dial piece out, but after that it was easy to insert into the new one. Then it was just a matter of aligning the new board with the dial/buttons and screwing it back down. Worked like a charm! This was my last resort--after replacing the door latch assembly twice, paying for a mechanic to examine and give his opinion (he figured the control board), then opting to replace this part myself, I was just going to break down and buy a new machine if this didn't work.
