The 5E (sometimes called SE) error code happens most often when there is a quick power blip or brownout. The power goes out and comes back on rapidly and for some reason it destroys the Refrigerator Defrost Sensor. There are 3 sensors listed simply as "Temp Sensor" or something along those lines, but this one is the one that needs repair. This is Samsung part DA32-10104N. Replace this and the error code disappears. You need to get behind the cover at the back of the fridge. Under a few screws and figure out how to remove the drawer structure and you're in business.
