Water wasn't draining but first I want to give a shout-out to Ben's appliances and junk a You Tuber who showed in his video how to find the error codes on a Maytag washer and where they put the technician manual in the machine. Got my new pump and tilted the machine back to access the underside of the machine, Had removed all the water with a shop vac through the drain hose followed the AppliancePartsPros video, and replacing the pump was a simple task. after replacing the pump put the machine in the calibration mode to let the control board know two new parts were installed. put the machine in a wash cycle where it stayed in sensing mode for a good while but the good thing was the door latch is working, then the machine came on and is working good.
