Pretty easy fix with replacement part from AppliancePartsPros -- but there's a catch: The eight control buttons, not the on/off button, all look alike, but they need to be installed in a certain order for them to work once you install the panel. No instructions for this and the repair video (by the tech Simon) does NOT make this clear. It took a lot of time and repeated installations to figure this out. The buttons, which can be from the old part, need to be installed according to the letters thinly embossed on their inside back cover to match the same letters on the back button openings of the new panel. Three are marked X, Y, Z. The five are A, B, C, D, E. These letters are hard to see, same gray color as the panel and buttons and you have to know to look for them. If you don't line them up in order and then install the panel, the buttons don't fit right, don't work or produce an error message and you waste time. A job that should have taken an hour or less took several hours. Bosch should explain this and the DYI consumer and the Pros should be clearer about it in the online and YouTube video. But customer service and tech support are very good. A brief mention of this by another customer on the website was the tip off.
