Linda F Midland , TX April 18, 2016 Failed heater element in dryer Found that the lower wire on the two thermal overloads was over heated and became so hot due to high current from a loose just from hysteresis it split from the spade stay-con connector on the connection to the thermal at the front most thermal lower connection. I am going to investigate whether or not the wire is 75 deg. or 105 deg. silicon insulated wire. If not I plan on building a complete new harness with 105 degree silicon wire with the proper AWG ampacity. I am going to use a higher end female stacon that has a double retaining dimple on the back side that will not easily open on the female type due to hysteresis from the fan motor and drive motor. The components I order from you are always the correct part with OEM or better quality. Thanks for being a quality vendor. This is not my first purchase from your firm and will not be my last.
